12th Annual Collect-Hit Set for October
The popular Brussels fair returns
Collect-Hit, the international collector's fair in Brussels is set to take place for the 12th year running in October at the Brussels Kart Expo!
Every year, on the first Sunday of October, Collect-Hit's reputation for high-quality dealers and items attracts huge numbers of toy collectors to converge on the outskirts of Brussels in Groot-Bijgaarden.
Here, you’ll find 19th and 20th Century toys on 600 tables covering 5,200 square meters of the indoor exhibition hall. The exhibitors (250 in total) and the visitors (in their thousands) come to this great annual meeting from all over Europe, and from further afield, with some attending from the US and Japan.
At Collect-Hit, visitors can pore over model trains and cars and haggle over toy soldiers, old celluloid or china dolls and teddy bears of the "Nostalgic Collection" section. Original comic strips and comic books, 19th century art merchandising products, American comic books and Japanese mangas are also on offer in the "BD - Comic/TV Series" section.
As one of the best-known toy names from the 2nd half of the 20th century, a certain famous doll and her accessories will also headline in the "Barbie in Brussels" section.
And as ever, besides toys and dolls, visitors can browse through ephemera, advertising items, enamel signs, perfume bottles and much more in the "Nostalgic Collection" section. There are also two catering services in the exhibition hall that visitors can enjoy after hunting for bargains!
This year's Collect-Hit takes place on Sunday, October 7th, from 10.00am to 3.30pm at the Brussels Kart Expo, Alfons Gossetlaan 11, in 1702 Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium.
