New Ray had some fantastic models, not least of which were these Vespas - continuing the trend for larger scale models in huge 1/6 scale. There's a scooter alone and one with a sidecar

CMC's stand had the amazing upcoming Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic, as well as the Fiat Ferrari F1 Racing Transporter we saw in resin form last year.

To kick things off, here's the Bugatti (and some of its components!)

As usual, there were plenty of high detail discast to drool over on the Kyosho stand. Feast your eyes on these:

In 2010, we checked out the Top Slot stand and we were amazed by the prototypes for their amazing Pegaso slot cars. Top Slot's cars are so amazingly beautifully detailed that even if you never race them, they make great display models (and if you do decide to race them, you really need to buy another one the same just in case the racer gets damaged, which may be part of their business model in making these cars so nice!)

This year, not only did they have fantastic finished examples of their Pegaso range on display, including racing and street Pegasos and some of the wild coachbuilt cars, they also had the upcoming models from their new Mercedes range, some of which were in prototype form while others were finished. And these look equally amazing - and are equally interesting choices. Here's what we found on their stand...

The Scalextric stand was extra impressive this year, with a huge amount of great new stuff on show in ready-to-go and pre-production form. The new models include a classic early-sixties Beetle, MGB and the new McLaren, while there are also new kits and sets that tie in with Cars to appeal to younger slot car racers. Plenty of great high-detail sets for the collector too, though, including themes like Aston-Martins and Brawn GP. A bit of Bond too! Here's the pictures:

As ever, there was a lot of impressive stuff on the Dragon stand, including new action figures in 1/6, awesome accessories for those action figures, model kits - and something a little different that we'll get to at the end of the post. The action figures include some incredible WWII pieces, and their correct-scale accessories include WW2-era Jeeps, tanks and horses. And some dangerous-looking weapons, while the kits include numerous very nice high-detail ship models.
