Here's some more Norev, this time a wide range of racers in 1/18...

I have a few more posts to come from Nuremberg still, but for a change of pace, here are some images from Technoclassic at Essen! Joschik attended this awesome event (a must for classic car afficionados) and sent me some great images. Here's some diecast and slots to start with...

I think Welly is a name that sometimes doesn't get enough credit for producing some very cool models. Here's some of what they had on display...

Besides their cool museum, Italeri had lots of great new kits on display, as well as some very cool dioramas. Here's a sampling...

These guys really do do some great trucks:

I had a great time chatting with the guys who run Tecnomodel. They've been involved in the Italian modelmaking world for a long time, and their models are a variety of wonderful resin cars in 1/43 and 1/24. Just check out these pics. All the models are high-end and very limited in quantities, usually around 10-20 of each colour at 1/43.

Here's part of the 1/43 fully-built range of Ferrari Scuderia Spiders

We may have started a trend! We were far from being the only ones with vintage toys on display at Nuremberg this year. Solido had some, La Mini Minera had some, and renowned model kit makers Italeri had a mini-museum of their past products on display to mark their 50th anniversary. It was great to see these kits alongside all their great new items. We'll be covering their new stuff in a separate blog post, but in the meantime, check out the contents of their museum!
