Anything on the bottom or anywhere else that may show a makers mark or number/letter?

Sadly I do not 'yet' own this item so cannot lift it up to find out

I see. Looking at the photo I think I see a letter A on the front hub cap so I blew the photo up.

Not sure if I am seeing things or not. Any one know what this might be?

according to a few Dutch collectors, this Bedford truck is made by Brimtoy, the Pocketoy series, number 9/510

On the internet at Vintagediecast.co.uk I read the next text:

"BRIMTOY Pocketoy 9/510 Long Wheelbase Truck - Red plastic body with black plastic wheels and radiator. green tinplate wagon body, clockwork motor with pressed bright metal key - Length 5"/13cm."

On the first picture of this topic the body and wheels look diecast to me.

Maybe swap the beds and tidy up the first truck?

Both appear to have no signs of the clockwork mechanism, must be incomplete.

This is interesting & new to me as the Wells Brimtoy Pocket toys I have seen have had tin backs & plastic bodies, many thanks for showing.

I googled around and found nothing... But here is a great reference site if you have not seen it on some small UK producers from back then: www.diecastvintagetoys.co.uk/ Those 2 trucks are not there.
