This is for Mum.

Oh Richard, so sorry to here this, our parents are our rock to lean on in troubled times and when they move further on to a higher place, we know it is now up to us to find our way in life.

That is a nice gesture and I am sure She appreciates that and the model must never be sold because it now means so much to you.

Richard, I and my wife offer you sincere condolences. I know how much she ment to you and I am very happy the pictures of my flower garden in the past years brought her some joy. You told me how she liked to see them.
That Car is now very special as Kevin says and I agree. One for the keeper shelf and to be much loved and cared for.
Times like this are tough and they test us in ways we can not always see. She was your rock and has played a large part in who and what you are. Cherish the memories my friend. We feel for you too.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Richard. On our paths through life we will inevitably lose people close to us, but few, if any losses can compare to that of the one who gave us life.

So in a way it is very fitting, that it was such a huge, prominent and beautiful model that became the monument for your mother. May she rest in peace.

So sorry to  hear that Richard. All has been said by others but I heard it is best to celeberate that your loved one was with you all the time, instead of grieving for one's death.

Thank you so much for your kind words.
It's been almost a week and she will be cremated on Monday.

Already there is crazy friction as family raid my comfort zone where I used to share most of my time watching movies and Star Trek with Mum.
Her collections of books are being taken off shelves and unceremoniously dumped. He clothes and ling are raided from cupboards and I watch as the life I build up with mum is bing destroyed.

Sometimes I wonder why it could not have been Dad instead? That might still happen too.

Why could my sister nit wait after the funeral. The rift we had is getting bigger. I feel they are invading everything.
They are doing what that wants... that is not necessarily the correct course of action.

One of my songs that I dedicate to Mum is Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. There is another one aswell, but at this time this is my trigger.

As usual my brother calms me down.

Thank you all
