That looks good

Okay, base fitted and riveted back on and the door hinge pins are back in too. I had to make one as one broke the end off while taking it off and it was then too short.

All back together and the grill and headlights are detailed.

These are very large decals so you have to be carefull they don't fold on you or rip. Treat them with care if you do this model.

It has a new bolt and washer for the spare tire too.

I have one more Van to do for this customer, the Spratt's Dog Biscuit Van. Watch this space.

Thanks Tee. I am doing a set of Motor cycle with side cars in AA livery at the moment as well as the Spratt's van. Nice cold day projects. It was -10 this morning and is only up to -2 today.

Jim--Very nice job on the Guy Van....I recently told you that I will also be sending one of these your way, probably for some form of Code 3 treatment. I have always thought these were a very nicely done model by Dinky, and a classic in any of the variations.

Beautiful work Jim, thanks for sharing it with us.

What color is the paint for the weetabix? Is it a bit orange/yellow? I know Revell has a color called Lufthansa yellow perhaps it is the same color?

I still have to restore the Dinky 2CV Van so that color you used should work

Thanks:Theo

Pictures gone from this thread too. The color is my #15 Deep Orange/Yellow. You are correct.

Thanks all for the compliments.

Every now and then I go back through my past posts looking for incomplete ones or ones that Photobucket, in it's greater wisdom, has decided can no longer be posted here or anywhere unless you pay.
Let me finish this on off with more pictures of the Dinky 44b AA Motorcycle Patrol pair.
I painted the drivers next.
