Go back to post #11 and you can see the masking.

The Jag has been masked and painted and then unmasked. The first time I did not wait long enough for the paint to dry. This time I left it over night and it is a much better result. I still have some touch ups to do though.

Digital cameras sure make it look bad. By the eye it isn't this bad. LOL

Ye the camera is sometimes brutal. Are you touching up with red?

Yes and so far it is looking good. I have a bit of the light blue to do as well

I have touched up the bits that needed it and have applied silver paint to the grille and front and rear bumpers. It is drying now.

Some times I don't like digital cameras. It shows up the little tiny mistakes one makes that would probably not be picked up with the eye. None the less, they are there. Here is my first go at the touch ups. Got too much silver on the front bumpers and it crept up the front if the car so I removed it along with some of the bumper paint too. Oh well, that is they way it goes. Here it is so far.

It came out fine and I am sure the eye of the camera sees more than we do

Thanks Theo.
I have finished off this Jaguar as I finally got my rivets. I did not want to put screws in it or the Caravan either.
Here is the finished Jag.

There are still a couple spots I should touch up. I will do that along with the other 2 I am touching up right now. They should be ready soon too.
Enjoy!

Thanks Theo. This one of my favorite Dinky toys and also one of my favorite cars of all time. I have This Red over Light Blue and the Grey over Yellow version. There is one more Red over Turquoise and there were a couple of Factory Color Samples in Red over Black which someone had tried to make this car and a Brown over Light Blue. I don't think I will do either of them though. I also have an all red version. There are lots of other colors to0.
