striking colour combination!

You saw the blue paint on the concave hub, that is gone. I have done the final touch ups and installed the wheels and the two piece base plate. I cut them from the Dodge chassis and the Caravan chassis base plates. Fit them so they match under the two tabs on the Dodge chassis. See this picture.

I had also thought about filling in the chassis where the truck and caravan meet behind the cab. The rear was taken care of by the caravan base. I decided to paint the Milliput that showed Black and leave it alone.

I thought it looked pretty good and now that I see it on the screen it does look good.

I bought this caravan with the idea of doing this project back in 2008. It was a while before I got the Dodge chassis, 2010 or so. Last year I finally decided to do something with this and bought my first Milliput filler. It works great, just be patient. All worked out well in the end and I am very happy with this outcome.

I did not like the looks of the standard ridged hubs so used the newer concave alloy hubs like the Rolls Royce Silver Wraith has. Not sure if they are classed as old style or not but they are not whizz wheels. That is too new for me completely.
