I started this about 3 weeks ago and finally finished it up today. Too many toys on the bench. Starting to clean it up though a the Car Carrier is almost finished. Anyway, here is my Dinky #260 Royal Mail Van for the Mail gift set. I have the post office telephones fan and the Phone booth to restore yet and then just need a box. Enjoy the pictures. Sorry I don't have a before pic but it was in pieces when I got it.

I have done a few of these vans now and some have looked like yours. As long as there are no cracks in the plate you will be fine. If the bends are sharp then you should heat the plate up with a heat gun until almost red hot and then straighten the plate. If only slight bends then just tapping with a hammer while cold is fine but I lilke to warm mine up to about 200 degrees Farh. first.
