Here's where you can discuss all general diecast stuff - mystery items, ask who made a model of a particular car, ask for info about an obscure manufacturer or chat about anything else related to vehicles smaller than 1:1 scale!

Ah, okay Dennis. I'm glad to hear it's not just me, that couldn't see the images. I'm wondering if Alan, Jonah or Ibrahim could see them?

Assuming everything on Planet Diecast is working properly, the following screen grabs do show the method for uploading pictures to this forum from your computer.

Uploading problems will be caused by inappropiately named pictures.

A picture given a name like this...''Corgi Toys Mini'' will not upload to the forum.

A picture named like this...Corgi Toys Mini will upload to the forum.

Try not not use any of the 14 puncutation marks used in English Grammar.

Whenyou are ready to upload an image/picture, the screen grab below shows what you should click.

You should then see the following screen, below.

By clicking the 'Choose File' button, access of your computer is allowed and you should see the screen below which is an image of my computer showing Doctor Who folders.

If I want to upload a picture from one of these folders I simply click on it and it will open. I can also click on one of the spare images below all the folders as highlighted below.

In the above screen grab you can see an image highlighted with a Red circle. Click on this and it will be sent to the forum ready for uploading.

A upload window will open showing the title or file name of the chosen picture which in this case is...76 Totter,s Lane so I know it is this picture waiting to go to the forum.

After a small windo has been cleared by me, I see a larger window which is confirming my picture has been uploaded to the forum.

All the above screen grabs were uploaded using the method described within them.

Please let us know how you get on with this method but do ask if you have more problems.

Looks like it only works with the "quick reply" and not with the normal reply??

I do not know much about Neo model cars produced in three scales 1:18 scale, 1:24 scale and 1:43 scale. I gather this German owned company originally was owned by a Netherlands firm. Where are these fine looking scale models made. China would be my guess going by the images.

My question is were these models ever made in the Netherlands by the brand name Neo. The other how long has Neo models been in production.

Cheers members.

Neo were Dutch but are now owned by a German company, Model Car World.  Always made in China.  The original company started in 2009.  See

Thanks Karls for addin a bit more history on this new bread of model cars that was kick started in Holland and manufactured in China eight years ago from now. Nero is basically a trade name in retail then, who contract one of those China design and tooling manufacturing toy producing companies who make them to order.

These 1/43 resin models (Neo, Matrix,...) are more detailed than the standard partsworks (made to order in China).  Very delicate and really collector's models only.  Photoetched parts and mirrors that can easily come off. Very expensive too.

It probably depends on the company, but some of them might be designed in US, Germany, Holland, etc and then manufactured in China.  Not sure.

The Dutch firm Replicars (owned by Jaap van Dijk) founded Neo Scale Models.
The company was five minutes from where I live
The design of the models was mainly the work of his employee Mark Asbreuk.
Mark married a Chinese lady and lives in the south of China now.
End of 2011 Neo Scale Models was sold to the German company "Model Car World".
Two years later (2013) Jaap and Marc founded a new brand together: "Matrix Scale Models".
Same quality but more rare cars........

A superb collection and quite a treat to see.

Bedankt voor het delen met onze liefhebbers van normale autoos. Ik heb ergens op PD een Minichamps Opel Rekord plaatje, maar kan het op dit moment niet tevoorschijn toveren.

(roughly translated: Thanks for sharing with us collectors of normal cars. I have an Opel Rekord made by Minichamps somewhere on PD but have a wee problem locating it)
