Here's where you can discuss all general diecast stuff - mystery items, ask who made a model of a particular car, ask for info about an obscure manufacturer or chat about anything else related to vehicles smaller than 1:1 scale!

This is up on eBay as a dinky Tourist Trailer. Does any one know who made this? It does look old.

Look at the pictures in the ad. What is that hole at the front bottom on this trailer? Looks like something is broken off but what?

I have look at the pictures but it is not a Dinky I think. It is a slush cast made by Barclays Toys in the 1930's.

Google Tourist trailer toys and you will find it

Doesn't the word Dinky mean small? It was fun searching for this one

Yes Theo. Wee or Small or Tiny can all mean Dinky. I think that may be part of why they were named Dinky toys in the beginning as they were small pocket toys.
