So I got another one of those 1/24 models by Fabbri from the collection Quattroruote magazine put out in Italy. This one is the microcartastic Fiat 600 Multipla, complete with opening bonnet and front doors:
Now here\'s the thing about this one - so far, all the models I\'ve bought have just been the models by themselves, without the book they\'re packaged with at the Italian newsagents. However, this Fiat came with the book, which I hadn\'t seen before. Usually, the partwork text is just loose-leafs that tey give you a binder to keep them in or just a magazine. But this is a proper hardback book, with some very nice illustrations and reproductions of contemporary road tests. I can\'t vouch for how good the text is yet, because it\'s all in Italian, so it\'ll take me a while to read, but it seems accurrate, covering the Mulitpla, special-bodied Multiplas, the 600T and with a little addenda about the moden multipla.
Given that these retailed for 20 Euros, I think that\'s pretty good value for money (don\'t ask how much I wound up paying to have this posted to the UK!!!)
