As I mentioned in my re-introduction I have put a lot of emphasis on Bentley models.

Next I show you three 1/43 Bentley R type Continental models, by Minichamps. Two more colors are available from Minichamps, white (in the mail to me) and pale green.

This model is a replica of the car built by H.J. Mulliner from 1952 to 1955 as a light weight, 2 door fastback. It was the fastest 4 seater saloon in them days, capable of doing 120+ MPH. The name Continental was given as it was meant to speed along the French and German highways in great comfort, velocity and style. In total 208 models were built: H.J. Mulliner (194) by Park Ward (5), Graber (3), Franay (5) and Pininfarina (1), of which 206 are still alive.
If offered for sale you need deep pockets. An unrestored H.J.M. R type sold for over 1 million dollars last year.
