Today a model car swap meet was held at the Ford Museum in the city of Hillegom, Holland. The area around Hillegom is world famous for its flower bulb culture and huge numbers of people from all corners of the world go there every spring to see the tulips, hyacinths etc. in full bloom; really a colorful spectacle.

But not this Sunday; today it was model cars in a very interesting museum. The venue itself well organized, not too big but ever so busy. Here my Matchbox catch.

Good score Gerrit,
I could not attend or participate, because my father is 87 today.
Next time I hope to be present with 4 metres of diecast cars

Belated birthday greetings for your dad.

The venue was held in the so called Lincoln Hall of the museum which was filled up to the brim. The next meeting is planned 6 months from now (date?) I guess you need to make reservations as early as possible if you want 4 meters of table space.

That Jaguar is a personal favourite of mine and I like to see it doing a bit of work.
