Revell well I be and here I was thinking they only made plastic model kits.

Revell made a lovely BMW Isetta in 18th scale...

and a motorbike... a Ferrari 250LM (also boxed.

That's my repertoire done. Budget as a student was pretty much non-existent

This is really awesome and what a concept! 1/18 models take up a lot of space, but if you put them inside the coffee table... problem solved. Models often have to be in special rooms, like garages, hobby rooms, display rooms, hallways and so on, but you have not only moved them into the living room, but into the furniture, allowing you to enjoy your precious models at all times.

No no, Revell have made lots of awesome 1:18 models. Some of them are still quite affordable (others less so) Take a look on eBay, worldwide or from the german eBay site directly... you'll find some great stuff!

Indeed Revell brought out a whole host of 1:18 casts.
Thanks for the comments, Teebodk. My exact thoughts on doing the concept.
