Did I see a log (timber) carrier? Here are the Volvo and Scania together again at last! Same adjustable trailer - one just has a shorter load!

Thanks Karl, what a beautiful combination. Both in pristine condition. Are the logs and chains original?

The longer one is, I think. They all came with chains so I went to a jewelry supply / fabric store and bought a replacement chain! Looks identical! I think the Volvo lumber is too short for the trailer so probably not original, but its chained down now!

Those are awesome!
The Tekno Scania models are my favourite with the Volvo close behind

And here is next one: Another Scania Vabis, this time with a flatbed trailer for Akerman

Will you restore? - it would be cool in non-Tekno colors! (not orange and yellow). I got mine many years ago in Copenhagen at this store, Thorngreens! 1960s-1972!

I really like how the triangle is attached and secured. Great think by Tekno, don't you think?

Good to see those close ups Tekno excavators on their vehicles from Thorngreens back in the 1960's 70's advertisement. They look in mint condition of excellence. Cheers.

Do you mean the upside down pin with the slider bar! yes, very nice. (Their older ones were much cruder wires that came to a downward point...)

Last Edit: 8 months, 1 week ago by karls.

I also notice that the second set of rear wheels on the truck can be lifted like the other truck you showed us. That is a great feature and ads realism to the play value.

The older Dodge series used a similar design, but with tinplate! Carlsberg beer truck and trailer.
