I have one Lledo Days Gone like your. Sunbeam Racer. Had it for years and think it cost about $10 to $15 back then. Mint in box, still have the decals/stickers unused too.

Wow!!! three of these four pictures loaded normally.

The lledo models are a set that was issued by Kelloggs as an on pack offer 1992

For the 85th anniversary of the Brooklands race track , the models were only used for this offer so Kelloggs may have part funded the castings.

The offer was collect tokens and add postage (£5.00) in return you got an

Aston Martin (green)

Alfa Romeo  (red)

M.G  (blue)

Sunbeam  (cream)

and in an enverlope a card pre cut Brooklands track

Thanks very much for the information. I have copied and saved it in the folder with the car. Good reference as I did not know where it came from and thought it was just another Lledo toy. Always nice to know about ones toys.

Lledo also made this in 1999 just before they went into receivership

(there is a picture in Days Gone Collector confirming this)

That reminds me of the BC Place Dome in Vancouver BC.

I bet not such a white elephant as this was !
The Millennium Dome or as it it now known 02 Arena

Luff,
I was going to post something far less 'civil' than your comment re 'The Dome'. How many millions & how long did it stand empty ?

I am sure I have this set from Kelloggs as I have the garage for the Corgi Cameo's

it is a shame when a venue like that fails. Ours was built in 1983 and after the 2010 Winter Olympics it had the roof you see installed. Home to the Vancouver Canuks among other teams.
