Semis, artics, pickups, vans, road trains - whatever they are and whatever you call them, if they're used to transport stuff, here's where to talk about them.

Fantastic! 43rd is a bit big for me, I do have some in my collection. I think the only Berliet I have is the Corgi Freuhauf bottom dump tractor. Love the background shot.

I don't know what the heck they're saying, but it's a neat video nonetheless.

They are talking about the arrival of the T 100 in the port ol Alger in 1958.There were a big crowd to see it. In january 59, it goes forthe first test in the Sahara desert with a load of 50 tons. This truck was called "the giant of the desert".

Is the real one in a museum now, or was that first pic taken at a trade show? Planetary hubs, must be geared real low. Impressive, both in 1.1 and in 43rd.

I'm glad to see it was preserved. Most of the old rare trucks end up being sold for scrap. I'm in the process of restoring an old truck myself. Along with the trains and the models and diecast customs, my days can get pretty busy.

What kind of truck would you restore?
I would do the same, but where can I park it. My garage is too small.......
