TOPIC: My Russian collection, need help to get factory names

My Russian collection, need help to get factory names 7 years, 7 months ago #1

Expert Boarder
All my models here are about 1/43

I know this one is made by Arat, Lada 2107.

Moskwitch M408

Her is how its base looks:

(I am not sure if the model numbers are correct, but it is what it says on the base.)

Moskwitch M412

Moskwitch M426

Moskwitch M433

Moskwitch M434

Kadett B Coupe

Volga 3102

Hope I can get help to get them into my excel file with the producer's name.

Am I right in thinking that you do not have the boxes for these models ?

I don't know if it helps but I think this is the box for your Volga 3102

impressive collection.

Got a few myself. I think the Lada VAZ (Fiat 1500) was my last one made by 'arat'.

My Moskvitch Volga by the above ABTOMO???? CCCP

No idea who made the Kamaz trucks.

My police van was made in collusion with WELLY and the Russian name unpronounceable

My Ural truck is in the wrong box. The ZIL-131 box has an address to the manufacturing plant, I think. Which is more than these other boxes.

We need a Russian translator please?

this works quite well. for my Kamaz trucks:

масса снаряженного автомобиля = Curb Weight

and this next bit had me puzzled for a second or two...

молоковоз = milk

then realised my truck is a 'milk' tanker

can figure out most of this paragraph, but its difficult to decipher which letters were used for the Kamaz Truck.

Russian:
в автомобнлях камАз заложен большой отечественный опыт создания надежных и долговечных автомобнлей, инпользованы лучшие достижения мирового автомобнлестроения.

Rough Translation:
in avtomobnlyah KAMAZ laid great home experience a reliable and durable avtomobnley, inpolzovany best achievements of world avtomobnlestroeniya.

So getting the gist of this:
The Kamaz factory had great local experience building reliable and durable vehicles, ???? best achievement of world automobile design(?).

Send sentence of same paragraph:

Russian:
Рациональное соотношение мощностн, скорости и грузоподъемности обеспечивает оптимальную, с точки зреяия экономики, эксплуатацию автомобилей.

Translation is quite good this time:
This balance horsepower, speed and capacity ensures optimal from the point of maturing economy of the car.

DINKYCOLLECT,

These are great models! You mentioned in your post that they were for sale. Are any of them still available? I'm particularly interested in Moskvitch's.

Thanks
