Another Lada or Shiguli how it was called in russia. The russian Lada was really a license by Fiat. This is why it looks similar to the Fiat 124.

That\'s because they are rebadged Fiat 124s.

Apart from the GAZ 3102 there was the Lada Polski and Lada Riva was based on the Lada Riva.

Badge engineering was a big thing as cars got replaced from the parent company.

British were notorious for Badge Engineering. Italy did their bit too with certain French and Spanish models. Chrysler played a huge part with putting their finger in the pie in most car companies worldwide. Usually it had to do with the rules of import which could increase the sale value of the car, but if it was assembled in the country where it was to be sold different laws applied. Nice way of cheating the taxman.

there where also a model of the chaika that have big horns coming out of the hood,for political messages
