TOPIC: Citroën Dyane mail van - majorette

Citroën Dyane mail van - majorette 9 years ago #1

Gold Boarder
I bought this majorette some last weekend. I'm sure I payed too much, but I couldn't resist. It's a Citroën Dyane mail van. It lost some paint here and there, but it's in good overal condition (in my opinion).

The odd part is: the doors at the back are one piece, no idea whether this is a factory error or not.

If the doors are plastic, then it probably is a factory fault. Can you see if there are hinges visible?

It is a nice model you don't see too often

I'll take a look next weekend, but I think the hinges are visible on the last picture. I saw it once before and this one was for sale not far from parents' house... too much for me not to handle

They simply forgot to cut the flange through.

Its an Acadiane by the way.

Got one too and also Code3 one to a 2CV boxvan

if you want to be correct it's indeed a acadyane, the difference with the normal dyane is this one is made for heavier transport (like the 2CV fourgonette)

does your model have opening doors?

I would've thought that the doors on this model would be the same colour as the whole vehicle.

I have a red renault with yellow doors, I think they don't want to have the same color from the front to the back...
