I have a buddy who has a number of the Solido military vehicles and I think they were given to him in the 1970's. He is Canadian and lived in Vancouver and also the Okanagan. I think they were birthday and Christmas gifts so bought in Canada.

I need drivers also - if you find good source!  Some on 'epay' were very expensive.

Modelcarparts have replacements (perhaps unpainted) for 3 euro . I can order one for you as well  ? Sent me a pm?

Three Solido-Tekno 100 series with new lady drivers!  You are the best, Blackstone!

A driver in a convertible makes the car complete. Good on you.

My Solido-Tekno Alfa Giulietta has a new windshield.   Blackstone to the rescue again.  He is the greatest!

I love the Alfa and Floride, they would be perfect companions for the Dinky coupes!

I have that Lancia too (mine is gunmetal metallic) and I've read somewhere - maybe here - that it was the first ever Solido with opening features, so quite a milestone for them.

I think that was 1961 for Solido...

In 1964 when the opening doors on the Tekno Jaguar were introduced, they had SOLIDO mentioned on their boxes as a patent-holder for the opening doors.  In the small black circles on the red box!
