Are scale models available in Europe from this famous movie?

This was introduced pretty close to when the film was being shown in UK Cinemas.

How many different models did exist?

There was not many items produced to actually tie-in with the film which made the Airfix kit quite unique, but in more recent times there are a number of smaller 'Cottage Industry' type companies making a few collectable models based on craft seen in the film.
