Yes, we know it's a little bit of a contradiction in terms, but here's where you can talk about Norev, Minialuxe, Siku, Polistil, Tomte, Auburn, Sun Rubber or any other ready-made model car that's made of plastic or rubber. Hey, they're still cast in dies!

TOPIC: Triang Minic Electric 1/20

Fantastic Andy66, models in that condition are rarely seen outside of Museums, well done for securing that example and showing it here.

Many thanks Rollerman, I have to admit that I hesitated in buying this model over a couple of days , I looked at it again & again & thought you have to buy it as it looks mint. I am very pleased with it & now I have to get the Austin Healy to complete the set & a better Vanwall. From the day my dad gave me the black & grey Ford Anglia it hooked me on these great models, that was 33 years ago & I did not think of collecting the whole set but I am really pleased to nearly achieve that quest & to share the pleasure of collecting with people who are interested.

These are very nice models I have seen them also in blue, the box is very similar to the Triang Minic electric 1/20 I believe this was the only model they made in this scale.

I take this is the one you are selling on Ebay?

With or without box, that Jag is a modelcar to die for.

I got the Jag one on Ebay & a friend of mine came across the Mini one, they are nice finds as they add so much to this collection.

The Bentley convertible has just come on today £119 start. It has slight damage to the front no. plate but overall looks very nice.

Here is my Mettoy one of the same scale, it is a very nice model with diecast I think it is the metal used on car door handles is called mozak? bright work, the whitewalls are fabulous, it is missing one front indicator & the Jag mascot which is a shame.

mazak or zamak, that is the same alloy were most metal cars are made of
