Yes, we know it's a little bit of a contradiction in terms, but here's where you can talk about Norev, Minialuxe, Siku, Polistil, Tomte, Auburn, Sun Rubber or any other ready-made model car that's made of plastic or rubber. Hey, they're still cast in dies!

Hi all, if anyone has an interest in these Hong Kong plastic cars it would be nice to share &  widen my  knowledge in how many different types of models, colour variations & were there any catalogues for them. I have been collecting these for many years , I had a large collection of die casts started when I was very young & I remembered my dad saying he would not buy me plastic cars as they would get broken, hence my later years thinking there won't be many left now.My collection consists of Telsalda, Lucky Toys, Clifford , OK, NFIC etc to British makers Victory Industries & Triang Minic 1/20.

Very interesting Andy. I like the glider. Never knew that a Maserati could be fitted with a tow hook

It is an unusual car to put with a trailer, I have a Roxy Toys Triumph 2000 in pink which is of the same scale which matches the dinky set.

Very nice, Andy.

I have never had great interest in plastic cars, but my interest is certainly triggered, seeing these beautiful cars. I shall look out for them when I am visiting boot sales

To my knowledge which I have learnt through my own collecting, these Hong Kong models started out being packed in printed pictures boxes as were Dinky/ corgi models , they went on to pack them in "window boxes" & plastic "dome" packs like the mentioned British makers through the  70's & 80's. If anyone knows anymore please add  their info as I am etching to know more, i.e  catalogues etc.
