Some nice models here CorgiCrossEyed , I have the Hong Kong plastic copies of a few of these.

Thanks Andy.

Those plastic copies are amazing.

It's interesting to see how much they go for on Ebay.

Can't believe this:
An Austin Driving School copy is at £444 with 6 hours to go.

edit: actually make that £609 with 5h 57m to go.

I'll leave that one for the serious bidders.

Did you go take a look at what this sold for??? £1605.00 or $2903.27 Auzy Dollars. Amazing. I guess some people have just too much money and it is a plastic toy.

Interesting information about the Corgi CWS van and the relationship with the Corgi Karrier Bantam. The Military gift set number 3029 looks in excellent condition. Many thanks for sharing.

Hello Corgicrosseyed, You've bagged yourself some nice Corgi models there and one 'Models of Yesteryear' Rolls-Royce. The Rolls-Royce is what I collect and have been chasing a particular variation of the one you show. Can it be possible you can photograph the Rolls-Royce on its own but keeping the model in the same position. I am looking for the version with a 'Copper' Fire Extinquisher instead of the 'Gold' one seen on most of these models and if yours is one, I can swap it for another model if you want, I have plenty of Mint-in-box spare models.

Rollerman.

Sorry Rollerman but I'm sure that my Rolls is standard gold.

Hello Corgicrosseyed, yes, it does have the normal 'Gold' component, blast! the search still goes on!

Many thank's for the extra picture, your'e a gent.

You have also included an 'Inset' picture of a model with the 'Copper' component, so you are fully aware of what I was talking about and that particular model is a 'Transition' model, made with old castings but in the new for 1973 colours, during the period when the 'Yesteryear' models production was stopped for a while allowing resources at Lesney to be put into the conversion of more of their '1-75 Series' models, into 'Superfst' versions, a nice piece of Lesney history and quite sought-after, is it your own example or did you have to borrow the picture from somewhere else.

TheRollerman.

Just a Google image that I found after searching for copper extinguisher but from now on I'm sure to be spending a lot more time in front of the Yesteryear tables at every toy fair I go to.

OK Corgicrosseyed, Here is a better picture of that 'Transition' Y-7 for you to keep, it's from my own collection and quite a precious model to me.

Thank's for the reply,

Thrilled to find a couple of plastic LandRovers which I'm sure were inspired by Corgi's Lions of Longleat Gift Set 8.

I'm starting to get more into the Corgi Juniors side of the collection.

Trying to stick to pre-crash releases though, just as I have been doing with the regular size Corgi.

First step is to collect all of the common ones (I've always tended to be a quantity over quality type collector) and found a dealer that has a lot of Juniors.

www.ebay.com/sch/sschatvet/m.html?item=1...amp;rt=nc&_dmd=2

Apparently he bought out a hobby store and came home with 4 x 40 foot trailers, mostly Matchbox.

Found out that he also has a lot of Corgi sports models (not listed).

Why not get one of each I thought.....

that is quite the list you have compiled there. Were the numbers with empty space beside toys that never got made? Any idea what they would be?

Re: Corgi Finds 6 years, 7 months ago #25

Platinum Boarder
The list is still a work in progress.

I don't have any books on Corgi Juniors so I'm not sure how comprehensive they are.

It would be great if there's a resource somewhere with more info.

Otherwise it's a hard slog Googling for these.

Michelin Trucks 1109 and 1112

I'm also hoping to find an 1108 Michelin Container Truck.

Another Shell Tanker for the Cubs collection.

Cargoes.
Skip and Churns was expensive.

Not Corgi but I couldn't resist these paint spun Dodge Majorettes

Some nice finds there. I have the bags of cement for the trailer or truck. Got them cheap years ago. The milk churns are always expensive. Thanks for showing these great items.

Thanks guys.

 Another parcel arrived today.

James Bond Aston Martin duo set 1361.

Box is a wreck and missing the smaller model but it still had a closed packet of figures that I don't think I've ever seen before.

Relatively cheap so I placed a bid.

Also, I had an idea.....

I already had a nice loose Juniors DB5 and many duo sets with the exact same outer box.

Pleased with the outcome even though I do feel a bit sorry for the Thunderbirds.

So which figures are in the packet ? Are these one driver for each maybe ?
