To which model do these missiles belong? 4 years, 3 months ago #1

Hello,

I kept these missiles im my "spare box" for quite a while now, without knowing to which model they belong - but quite shure should be Corgi or Dinky..

Can someone help?

I also would like to ask whether a forum member could give a complete list up of all ever Corgi used/produced missiles and where they belong to.

Did they ever produce missiles which did fit to more than one model?

Best regards

Wolfgang

Not seen these before, could be Dinky?

They may be made of a soft polythene based plastic and for some reason they look like they could be from 'MATCHBOX'.

I could be wrong here, but to me they look like the missiles from Corgi's James Bond Lotus Esprit. My brother used to own this model from new, back in the 70s, and I remember the missiles soon being spread all over the place, and eventually being lost.

Tried it out in order to be sure - no, definitely not the Esprit ones...

Definitely not.

Have to dig out my SupermanMobile tomorrow in order to check.

Any experts here for Britains?

Captain Scarlet series? / Vivid Imaginations ?

Isn't the Vivid Imaginations rocket similar to the Dinky version that was hollowed out at the rear to accommodate the firing mechanism

Re: To which model do these missiles belong? 4 years, 3 months ago #11

Gold Boarder
Yes, the SPV, we can exclude, but I am not aware of their fiull range.

Just checked with the Supermanmobile - definitely not...

Maybe from a Robot, or Transformers?

The rest of the Dinky Anderson vehicles that fired a rocket namely the FAB 1 and the SHADO 2 mobile both used the hollowed out rocket with the rubber tip so it's not for those

Didn't expect it to be such a tricky one - should we move the thread to another section in order not to limit it to people with high Corgi / Dinky expertise?

Corgi 647 Buck Rogers Starfighter missiles

If you google it, they are not the same - these have 2 thick ends and thin in the middle.  Sorry I am not much help!
