TOPIC: Corgi Toys trading cards

Corgi Toys trading cards 4 years, 3 months ago #1

Gold Boarder
Hello,

since quite a while, I haven't seen these trading cards on the traditional auction houses.

Is there any alternative source or does even someone here consider to sell them?

Best regards

I did not know these trading cards excisted. Can you show a few if you have them?

No - did never own a single one.

Trading card isn't the right phrase, maybe.

I believe they came along in the sugar cigarette boxes, we maybe all know from our childhood.

The only 'Trading Cards' that come to mind for Corgi are these that you had to cut from the card and stick them in an Album (which I have by the way).

Here is the Juniors collectors album, quite common with a couple on ebay type auction sites.

The set in the Vectis link I have not seen before either, yet I grew up with Corgi Toys and sweet Cigarettes!

Not sure, whether the pictures reflect the full range. There were also matches with Corgi labels, I believe

I've got that cards. They're 48. I've found them at Antico Mondo.

Here is a verso. Absolutely pure random one...

I remember these on the Corgi Junior models "Cards" I used to cut them out & put into a scrap book. I remember the orange Ford GT for some reason & cutting the packaging to get the card. I have the Collectors album which Rollerman shows.

When I find it I also have a hard back book called "All About Cars" it was in  assosiation with Corgi toy's which has action stories & uses the model range to picture them.

The Corgi model cards however are new to me I have not seen them before, thanks for showing Corky.

I have never seen these before and would think they are very rare. I did find a lot of 9 cards for the Truck Series, 1:50 scale. See here. 142078144787 Starting at .99 GBP and only one bid, still 5 days to go

As for this safety match labels, how many a collector would need to have them all?
