That took some time. Longest cord I have on anything is probably my Coles 20 Lorry mounted crane at about 1 meter.

I am not sure if the cord is original, I know that the tyre was as it fell to pieces when I revolved it. Not much cord though.
It is a shame that the toolbox lid is missing as this one is quite presentable.

The tyre cannot be replaced without taking the model apart. Andy, original or not, why don't you try to put a new long one on, see if you can beat mine.......

I am going to try splitting a tyre for this one ,when I get the chance & using a rubber glue, busy with my pedal car at moment so this will wait until then

Andy, I see in your picture indeed your tyre is not complete. You cannot remove the axle without taking the two 'holders' apart, which can only be done by taking the model apart. You better try to glue on a tyre in two halves then.

I saw several of those in Houten today, all with short cables though!
