Great collection, are you going to restore them?

Mind, the matte black ones are scarce...

I have one here that is in pieces and missing a bunch of the parts. Sent to me by a friend who said he would never get to it. Too much gone for me to do a resto on it. Thinking about selling it.
Also have a dismantled Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car that is missing a bunch of parts. There too I think I will sell it on.

I have a Corgi wreck here but not sure if there is anything you might need. Let me know what your looking for and I can take a look. Or post pictures here if you like.

All,

The matte black Corgi Batmobile was only offered the one year (1966).  This was easy to distinguish also by this year does not offer the trailer hitch that followed remaining years of the car. I have restored about 12 of these Corgi Batmobile's (variety of years, including whiz wheel models).  I am sitting on one for some time that I need to restore and I have the parts for it.  I do have some sets of whiz wheels in near perfect condition and a few of the internal roll cages. I use the same 3/32" size rivets x6 as I use on most other cars. I always make sure the missile launchers work correctly as well as the front chain blade. The missile launchers really are a no brainer to function correctly.  However, the chain blade can be quite tricky to function when you re-assemble the car.  If anyone has questions on restoring one of these, I will do my best to answer them.

Regards,

Allen

Of course a matt black Batmobile is worth quite a lot in mint state, but when the glazing is broken, it is not worth much, and it is then worth restoring. Counting all the parts together that you need to restore, it still comes to a small fortune.

I restored quite a few Batmobiles. To give you an idea, here some pictures......
