The Esso and Brooke Bond Tea are the same Deep Red. The Dunlop is a Crimson Red, The are both Spray bomb colors.

Thumbing through some of the topics and I thought these might make a good combination. The Dublo Dinky No.072 Bedford Articulated Flatbed Truck - introduced in June 1959 and deleted in December 1964 with all the remaining DD's which heralded the end of manufacture under the Meccano banner.

Slowly going through the Dublo Dinky range so I thought the Land Rover and Horse Trailer No.073 might make an interesting subject. These are in order of issue:-

I wasn't aware that Dublo models had so many variations each. No doubt, Hugh, you're the top specialist in this! Very nice models and condition + boxes!

I found this photo in my files, taken about one year ago: Dinky Toys Chrysler x4 combination.

Top (French): no. 24A Chrysler New Yorker (1956-1961) and no. 550 Chrysler Saratoga (1961-1966).

Bottom (English): no. 32a Chrysler Airflow Saloon (1934-1948) and no. 39e Chrysler Royal Sedan (1939-1950).

Nice combinations 2

Four years ago I customized a Leyland Octopus into a “Heinz” livery and two years ago a Guy Otter.
Together with a “Meccano” Bedford “Beans” and an Atlas Guy “Ketchhup” I showed them earlier in this topic. (Please see the first picture).
Recently I finished a Leyland six-wheeler in the same livery which I added to my “Heinz” fleet.
Now my “Heinz” fleet totally consists five models in the same colour scheme, in my opinion a nice company.
The making of the six wheeler from an Atlas Octopus will be described later in another topic.

Best Regards – Wolter.
