Karls, you jogged my memory!

It is a Tekno, the back of either the #957 Dodge Fire Truck or #956 Dodge Search Truck. I wish I cold post pictures of my #957 but hopefully this link will work for pictures I found on the internet

Pictures of the two trucks you put up with that plate.

So I guess the pegs on the back tab go into holes in the back of the truck deck. Interesting way to attache it.

Not sure, I'd have to take a look at mine. Im pretty sure the piece is not suppose to come off.

If you look at post 11 on the first page you will see the tabs or posts that stick up off the ledge on the back. The part is upside down as the pegs would go into holes on the back of the truck from what it looks like. You may not be able to see that unless the holes go right through the deck they mount to.

Tick - way to go! i have those Tekno Dodge trucks but without that plate! I'll have to see if the paint there looks mint or not!

Actually, mine are Vilmer and are more orange. No sign of any rear board being attached either. Vilmer made the same Dodge truck, Tekno copied and got sued in Denmark! The only difference is one cross brace!

At leas you now know. I did not know about Tekno being sued, interesting.
