I've recently found a Dinky Mini cab268 (made in England) and have compared it to the Atlas 24e model I already had. Unfortunately I don't have the original French Dinky version.


It is hard to see from the pictures below but the Atlas model feels bigger than the 268 model and actually measures around 2mm wider.  The overall construction however seems identical.


Was the same casting used by Dinky in the 1960s for both models, and if so is the difference in size just due to inaccuracies in the Atlas copy?

Looks to me like the Atlas has a more vertical angle on the side windows. Evident by the front on shot. Also looks a bit taller over all too. That could be tire height as they look larger on the Atlas.
