What livery does it have. I don't think I have seen it.

I'll have to look it up. Only spotted it once but it cost too much.

googled it up... again a Vectis blunder claiming this obvious Code-2 is a Pre-Pro.

I know how to find them, don't I???

Not a big fan of dinky matchbox, but will have to look into getting these two, very nice casting.

Yes, they are a nice casting. The roof comes off to reveal bench seats in the rear along the sides, spare tire behind the front seats and the front seats are the Triple type. With Spare on the hood this just says, take me out will ya, I want to play in the mountains.

Me and Jim are big fans from the Matchbox Dinky's. It was a great attempt of mid-80s to mid-90s to recreate the old styles with excellent details.
These models were made for collectors, not for playing. They went all out to create unique wheels instead of the generic ones from Superfast or Yesteryears.

The allround plastic display boxes were a bit flimsy but the models displayed well.

I'm still after a Cadillac with the roof up. Sadly got a lot of competition as its a popular model to collect.

In the case of Matchbox-Dinky its vital to have the box aswell. I have a red Volkswagen in front of me and I really like looking over to it as I think about what to write next.

Richard, yes the detail is great and I like all the different wheels, like you say, instead of just generic ones on all the models. That would have spoiled the whole series.

I have the Cadillac you speak of, pink with white hard top. $15.00 shipped. I will keep my eyes open for one and send you the link when I find it.

there's also a met.red with white hard-top.

my current one is black with top down.

I find it fascinating the front and rear are two separated molds.

I would think that is due to the overall length of the car. It was one of if not the longest car made in production here in NA
