always this particular car transporter can be found with an orange trailer and turquoise cab.

rarely is the one found with the yellow trailer.

These are very rare.

Looks to me like a cab swap would not be too hard.....

Or even pop a DAF cab onto a trailer with your choice of colour

Have fun

Yes, when i got the first one as this combo I thought it was a swap too until I found a second one shortly after. Both were in New Zealand.

The trailer and truck are riveted together. the top deck obscures a straight hit to the bottom deck. gravity test shows its secured in place.

instead of assuming it is fake, how about researching for facts that it might be a rare missing link.

as for the DAF. Trailer is different. however, i do have a plastic Gordy that is made from the same mould.

Morning Richard...

'WOULD  not be too hard' implies able to be done in the future.

I did not say or imply your trucks are fakes, or care either way.

I do not research subjects I have little or no interest in.

I do not search out oddball/factory/errors e.t.c. although I do have 1.

I bought those pictured  transporters (and others too) merely to enable me to get more Studebaker models into limited space within the cabinets.

Have fun

Don't get too excited Terry.

I research everything as its part of my hobby.
There are things I miss, or some things i don't agree with.
That's just healthy discussion.

The longest discussion was a Majorette Dodge truck. It was one of my favorites as a child, did not look like any Dodge truck I've seen. It did not say it was. And the scale ech.1/80 is unrealistic.
It took a while and eventually had conclusive proof it was indeed a Dodge.

Being a trained investigator helps too.
