I printed one out last night on 110 lb card stock on an Epson Stylus CX5000, and got great results. It\'s smaller than I expected and a fairly simple design, so it shouldn\'t take too long to finish. Now to clear some space on the table...

Don\'t worry so much about the thickness of the photo paper, it should be fine.  I use 110lb stock because I can get it easily, but many other paper modelers use 65lb stock with excellent results.  Some models require different weights of paper for parts of the same finished model.

So try the photo paper straight, I think your results will be just fine.
