An outstanding final product and the showroom presentation is extremely realistic. It is nice to see the detail that goes into some of the parts of the model that could quite easily be overlooked such as the dashboard and interior. The paint work is great and the overall standard of the model keeps the bar high.
I have restored a wrecked version of this model so also appreciate what has been done to achieve the end result. Code 3 models are exactly about coming up with an idea and presentation that would make the manufacturer wonder why they did not do one like it themselves. Great work.
From the photo the paint job on such a small model looks airbrushed and would have been difficult to do by hand. Leaving aside the fact that not too many funeral parlours would have one in their fleet the end result is an attractive model
I am sure Peterbilt wish they had produced the model as shown. It would have been a hit. Imagine a real life one on the roads. A well crafted and presented model.
It is hard to work with such small models. End product looks like it came out of the manufacturers pack which makes it a comvincing conversion.
