Normandy beach 2010. An army is training for war with live ammunition. They must be ready to fight play battles with their enemy on the floors of homes around the world. The infinite enemy horde continually spew forth from far off slave operated factories. Their masters are giant dream corporations, formless leviathanic beasts re-hashing the visions of often long dead creators and manipulating their mythologies. They have armies of technicians protected by a foul impenetrable armour of legislation ... they hold the imagination of our children captive! The Battle Of Walkerloo has begun - romantic ethical escapist toy soldiers at war with the Mega Corp Toys HUSSAR!!! HUSSAR!!!! CAUTION: Elastic bands can injure! ps. In his book a 'History of Warfare' John Keegan suggests war is a 'culture' in itself, in doing it you become it ... to fight the beast you become the beast. To pretend to be fighting the beast you must pretend to become the beast!
