'56 Ford Big Daddy Roth Tribute Truck
Revell kit but pretty much out of the box.
This is an old Revell kit that has been released many times over the years. This I believe was the most recent issue. the model is a replica of the actual truck that Ed Roth drove every day to work in his Kustom shop. I chose to swap out the kit tires for wide whites as i thought they made the truck look better! And the rear fenders needed to be narrowed, as this kit was available in the past with wide tires. All the working parts are kit pieces. the decals were a MAJOR PAIN to install! This is the first time that I had NO decals left after building a model!
GREAT decal work!
That's some amazing decal work! A nice build with good panel fit on all the opening bits. Only thing is that the whtiewalls look a little yellowed. They need buffing up! Oddly, I've never seen this truck before - nice to be introduced to it!
