Dad's 1970 Chevy C-20
Dad's C-20 based on his 1:1
AMT's 1972 Chevy pick up kit. This is a model of my Dad's 1:1. Bandit Resins supplied the grille, & hubcaps. Bed is scratchbuilt. Aluminum tubing exhaust tips. Paint is JD Green. Parts box supplied the wheels & tires, & mirrors.
I bet Dad loves this truck!
I like the idea of the family 1:1 done in any scale, those are memories grasped again, anew. As to the pictures, you need to work on them, more detail is needed to properly display your truck. Craftsmanship on the model as a whole is great, from what I can see, but I would also like to see more detail shots and something of the undercarriage too. You also need a better place to take your pictures, a background or display of some sort.
Keep up the good work and look forward to seeing more from you. I like your take on models.
Something cool about scratchbuilt
Although the truck looks awesome and a lot of extra work has gone into the design of the deck, I wished more closeup pictures were made into the construction of these details. It makes all the difference on seeing the model up close.
Apart from that, its awesome to see a model based on a real family truck.
