1923 Model T rat rod
New guy here. Got an invite from James 'Hippie' Bush, so.........
Anyway, my build is about half scratch work, 1/4 restored parts and the balance kit bashing. I figured I build a Ford POWERED by a Ford! The motor is a Y block 312 w/ a McCulluck (sp?) belt driven supercharger, similar to the high perf TBird. The tires were hand 'whitewalled' by a friend-Firestone fronts and double 7" piecrust slicks (AMT originals) rear. The build is fully wired and plumbed and is part of a vintage drag 'team' build I did. The last pic shows but the Fiat isn't Ford and the trailer was scratch built, so they're not in the contest. This was my first attempt at a weathered/distressed/beat-up paint job. Fun build but like always, it took me forever! Hope you folks like 'her'! Walt.
T coupe review
Cool "T"! The dual rear wheels are something different. I like the weathered finish and the little details.
Fantastic!! WHERE did you find the blower at?! I do so love the early years of drag racing, from the '50s up to '69. Everything was experimental, guys hunting around to find the stuff that worked. This is a great representation of that!
