52 Oliver Super 77 Tractor in 1/4 Scale
This tractor had lots of people believing it was a real '52 Oliver, ride on toy made by Oliver
It is one quarter scale.'52 Oliver super 77 replica,I got the idea to build it from watching old tractor shows on RFDTV years ago.I chose this model insted of the more poular tractors because of the 3 colors Oliver used. I used heavy cast iron and thick steel to build this out of this world replica. Even when it is running it sounds down to scale Like- "Chug-Chug-Chug" Most people though it to be very realistic. These are the only picture I have of this tractor because I sold it on eBay 4 years ago. Also I enterd it in this catagory because it is made out of several metals. I used a very old 8 Horse power Briggs & Stratton engine, for that peiod sound and look, and features a belt pully that actually works. And I did the exoast stack to be the air claener never to get warm.I remember driving up to my freinds house on my '66 triumph motorcycle. The second I got off the bike his 3 year old boy walked up and grabbed onto the exaust pipe.So if this is going to be admired by little ones,I thought out alot to this build and made it as safe as possible.
Diecast??? Nice build
This is a very impressive tractor! Even though it is not a diecast, it is still one-of-a-kind and it is something you should be proud of. Excellent job!
Let me ride it next, please!
Very nice job and would love to see it in real life. Not really a die cast model though. Hand Built Replica's is more like the category it should be in but we don't have one yet. You would be a hands down winner in that one.
Quite a job!
Would be good to see more detailed photos of this one and the presentation (i.e. the images) could have been done a little bit better, but at the core of it is seems an excellent job. Look forward to seeing more of these.
