Flawless Model of a Timeless Beauty
The model also comes with raised and lowered roofs, both of which are nicely rendered. It is supplied with the raised roof in place and the lowered roof in a separate bag in a separate section inside the box. The only word of warning is that when these are on the car, they rest in place rather than clipping in. As supplied, a tape brace holds the roof on, but once this is removed, take care moving the model, as the top(s) could come loose and chip.
A fabulous five-star model!

Automodello 1938 Packard Twelve Convertible Victor
Prior to their Packard release, Automodello had modeled cars from the 60's and 70's, so it came as a bit of a shock to their dealers and customers when the Packard was announced. That said, sales have been quite strong, with many purchasing both version of the car: The Ivory White (Cream) shown and the more limited Berkshire Green Metallic that was the official model for the 46th Packard Automobile Classics 2011 National Meet. The latter car is a run of 146 pieces at 146$US.
It seems many collectors start with one color, then have added the second color which permits one to be displayed with the top up and the other with the top down.
