New Auction of M&M Auctions on the 29th Septemeber
Machinery & Model Auctions is a brand new venture specialising in the resale and auction of Models and Machinery and runs its first auction this coming Friday, 29th September.
Over
the past 15 years, M&M's background has been within the "Real Machinery"
sector, as well as being heavily involved in the "Collectable Model"
World. Indeed, they have attended many auctions and events relating
specifically to machinery or purely collectable toys and models. In
addition, they regularly attend vintage shows and toy collector's fairs.
Collecting
real machinery and models are two hugely popular hobbies, to which
there are certainly strong links between the two. From first hand
experience, it is evident that many enthusiasts of real machinery will
inadvertantly have a passion to collect the model replicas too, not
forgetting other items of collectable machinery ephemera such as
literature, badges and general bygones.
As a result, they
bring Models and Machinery together into a set number of Auction sales
each year, conveniently containing lots of interest relating to Models,
Machines and any other ephemera that you could associate to these
popular fields of collecting.
The first sale this coming Friday consists of lots predominantly farm and construction. The collection features many rare and sometimes unique items, of which many will have never been seen before:
