I have always loved dolls and made puppets and marionettes as a child. My artistic talents were set aside as I grew older and I became a process chemist/engineer. I collected dolls and originally I only "doctored" my own dolls. I sold dolls at doll shows and other dealers began asking if I could fix their dolls as well and "The Dolly Doctor" just kind of grew. After 20 years of "Doctoring" and the second major downsize from Corporate America I decided to become a full time "Dolly Doctor". You may have already seen us at www.thedollydoctor.com where we sell our doll repair products and give you tips on their use. These products grew out of my frustration to find appropriate repair products that actually work and were reasonably priced. Using my chemistry background and knowledge of original manufacturing techniques I developed products of my own and tested them for a number of years. Once I felt they would best meet the needs of Doll repairers, both experienced and novice, I offered them to you, the general public.
