This last Saturday, we were all at the landmark 20th Anniversary Sandown Park Toy Fair! Maybe you saw us there?! I was the one taking pictures with my iPhone because the camera conked out as soon as we arrived!
Hi everyone - just wanted to let you all know that as per my forum posts, I'm off to Nuremberg tomorrow for the Toy Fair!
The London Toy Fair is on this week - it's a little smaller than usual, but some interesting things nonetheless. (For those who are kicking themselves for missing a chance to pick up some antique toys, don't worry - it's a bit of a misleading name as this isn't a swapmeet, it's the annual UK trade fair where toy companies go to launch new products and show their ranges, etc!)
Anyways, here are four of my favourite pics from the show:
This be a 3D puzzle of a 1957 Chevy BelAir. Its one of my most favorite US Cars and so was lucky to get this particular 3D puzzle on my birthday a few years ago. Its made out of foamrubber pieces with the car printed on it on one side. The instructions are easy to follow, however, its not always easy to follow instruction to the letter. I found I had to improvise a little to get the same result.
Anyone think these will be a future collectible?
THE toy to have this Christmas is apparently the Zhu Zhu Hamster.
