Dinky, Crescent,Budgie   and Benbros were paticulary prone to this problem.

The horrible thing is that there's nothing you can do about it either. The metal just drops to bits.

Here are two Politoys Lamborghini Jaramas. The one on the left has been destroyed by it. Either that or it's the jigsaw issue!
