Today we recieved confimation that LD Discounts will be going to Abu Dhabi for the final race of the Formula one season. The new Yas Island track is a real spectacular track, created in under one year, the track features a marina complex like Monaco and also a massive 1 mile straing, it combines slow and fast corners and is sure to be a real challange for all drivers.
We have been contracted to supply a massive 13 meter x 9 meter four lane Scalextric digital track as a replica to the actual curcit. The track will run 8 cars at once and lap timings and the scalextric action will be displayed on wall high LCD screens in the entertainment area.
We will bring you further information over the coming weeks in the build up to the event.
