Perry Rhodan Figures from Fredy Martin Schulz

Posted by: Toymaniac in Member Blogs

Who knows more about the Perry Rhodan Figures from Fredy Martin Schulz?  I know that he made these figures from 1967 to 1970 and then lost the licence. But did he still make the figures for a longer time? Which figures did he make? For those who do not know the Perry Rhodan Figures: They are about 7cm large, made of hard plastic and handpainted from Fredy Martin Schulz.

And the last question: Do people from other countries than Germany collect these figures?

I've got a few of theses figures. No, they're not based on the dreadful movie. They're based on the novels. Some of the figures in the picture looks repainted. They might be the figures from the 80s. Today the originals are really hard to find. I spotted a bunch on a collectors fair a few years ago. The prices started at 40-50,- Euros going up to 200,- for Icho Tolot (the large one with the four arms and three eyes).

Sometimes you can find these figures in the German ebay. Normally they cost about 30.- Euro a figure. Before bidding make sure that you bid on origina Perry Rhodan Figures not the figures which were made in the late 70ies and 80ies and only look like Perry Rhodan characters.

Hello, they are based on the regular novels which started in 1961. I do not know the movie but I have a lot of novels, literature about Perry Rhodan, comic books and other items and these are all well known characters in the serie except the wife with the bow. I do not know if she is an original Perry Rhodan character.

These are great! Do you know if they are they based on the novel or the 1967 movie "...4 ...3 ...2...1 ...Morte!"? (I know most Rodan fas don't like the movie, but it does have the fatastic theme sung by Edda Del'Orso!)
