The William Britain's company is back on the map. As witnessed by this month's figures of the week, very much so. Masterfully sculpted and adeptly painted by artisans Ken Osen and David Youngquist (respectively) these figures, indeed their whole new line, are some of the most popular on the market. And it's all in the little details, some of which you may not even notice; the proper amount and size of wrinkles in the fold of a wool uniform and the delicate highlight and shadow from such a fold. All adding to a whole new sense of realism heretofore unseen in a "toy" soldier.

Since June 2006, the MSTC staff has been choosing a favourite figure to showcase each week on the site. This one is from July 17-23 2006. We'll be covering the past two years' worth of these by featuring one a day here on Toy Collector until we've caught up when we'll move to one a week.
